Our beef comes from Hereford and Simmental cross cattle, which we rear alongside our dairy cattle.
The animals are grass fed on abundant supplies of our Cheshire Plain grass - what could be more natural? They slowly mature
over two years. They graze outside in spring and summer and are kept inside during the winter when the fields are wet and cold.
During winter they eat the grass we conserved in the summer as silage.
We like to have good quality animals which we kill when they are under 2 years old and at their
most succulent! The meat is hung for at least three weeks to tenderise it and improve eating quality.
Our customers tell us that it is the best beef they have ever tasted - simply delicious!
We provide small and large beef boxes, which contain fillet steak, rump, sirloin, topside and silverside
joints. We mainly mince the braising steak.
Small boxes are £120 and large boxes £240 but boxes can be tailored to your requirements.
Beef is £6.50 per kilo, with individual steaks etc. costing more. We are happy to sell any weight.
