Meet the team

Tim

Tim

Tim, a former Harper Adams agricultural student and Nuffield Scholar is the owner of the business and is always coming up with new schemes and plans! Tim works with our farmers to source goats and kid goats and can also be found in the butchery. More often that not when he can't be found - he's having a cup of tea and putting the world to right with a customer or supplier.

Marnie

Marnie

Marnie also a Nuffield Scholar and Business graduate comes from a restaurant/hospitality background having worked for Bass Taverns on the food stock side.  Marnie has retrained in butchery and has completed her HACCP management course and is the Meat Manager here at Chestnut meats.  Her motto is " that the product is sent out right first time and that the quality is ensured".  We pack and label your meat with shelf life and have full traceability of your product. When Marnie isn't working (which isn't very often) she can be found donning her Akela hat as leader of the Bunbury cub scout pack or walking her dogs, Duke & Jake.

Richard Where's Wally

Richard

After studying Physical Geography at Edge Hill University, Richard didn't realise just how physical the geography can be at Chestnut Meats! Haughton born and bred, Richard has quite literally thrown himself into life on the farm - his athletic efforts to retrieve escaping sheep and his helpful manner with customers have made him a very useful addition to the team. When he's not assisting Marnie and Tim or drinking tea - he can be found down at Bunbury Cricket Club where his catches and running between the wickets provide excellent training for work on the farm...

Vanessa

Vanessa

Vanessa has a business degree and after a career in International business now manages our office. She's the go to girl for any queries relating to your accounts and is usually the one you will be speaking to on the phone.

Stephanie

Stephanie is currently studying Agriculture and Business at Harper Adams University. Though she is only in on a Wednesday she is the "life and soul of the butchery" or so she says... As a typical student she can often be found down the local pub or on the agility field. We're very proud of the fact she has qualified for Crufts for the second time running this year!
