Delivery Information

Delivering Your Order:

If you're local then we are happy for you to collect your parcel direct from the farm - just click on "Collect from Farm" at the checkout stage. However, for the majority of our customers we send parcels via overnight courier in a complimentary insulated box with ice sheets to make sure your order arrives fresh and ready to use. Parcels are sent out Monday through to Thursday

Please note -  we cannot guarantee to process your order on the day we receive it for next day delivery. All our products are cut fresh to order and stock availability means that sometimes it can take a few days before we can ship your order. We always recommend ordering in advance and specifying a preferred delivery date in the comments field at checkout. However, If it's urgent then we will do our best to accomodate you just let us know your requirements in the comment field.

As our products are sent out fresh - the courier must leave the parcel with you - it cannot be returned to the depot. If you're not going to be in please specify a safe place to leave the parcel. This can be with a neighbour, in the porch, behind the wheelie bin ...whatever suits you best. You can specify this safe place in the comments field at the "Payment" stage of the checkout process. Please supply us with your mobile telephone number our courier will then text you a two delivery slot when your parcel is dispatched.

Most UK mainland destinations are charged at £9.98 for up to 20kg but certain postcodes carry a surchage (please see the table below). Your postage charges will be calculated automatically when you checkout your order - simply go to your basket, enter your postcode and click on the "Estimate" button. If you qualify for free delivery then the delivery standard delivery charge of £9.98 will show as a discount against your order when you check out.

Isle of Wight customers will also need to call for a quote - cost of delivery is approximately £20.

Specifying a Delivery Date:

All our meat is cut fresh to order (unless specified in the product description) so although we cannot guarantee dispatching an order placed on the same day, we will always do our best to accommodate last minute requests.

When you place your order online, you will receive an automatic message confirming the order and we will advise you again once the order has been dispatched. An update to "processing" is usually within 24-48 hours of placing the order but again, this does depend on our stock levels.

If you need your order delivered on a specific day, we advise ordering as early in advance as possible and then specifying a delivery date. You can do this in the comments field at the "Payment" stage of the checkout process.

Saturday morning delivery is possible. You MUST ring the office to arrange this as there is a £30 charge for delivery pre-12pm on a Saturday morning.

How quickly is my order Dispatched & Delivered?

The below table represents a hypothetical scenario depending on which day of the week you place your order and if you require a delivery via an overnight courier:

Not all parcels will fit this rule - some may actually arrive sooner. If you require a specific day/time then you must specify that at checkout, or ring us on 01829 260437

This does not apply to collection orders - you will be contacted directly regarding what day is best.
